Good day to you all,
Another busy week at the Wine Cellar, 3 different wine tastings anda Beer tasting on Thursday. First, thanks to Rolivia wines andSenor Sangria for the Saturday tasting. It’s great to offer different Wines and wine products, we are committed to offering you new and different wine experiences.
The Wine Dinner was a great success! The food was fantastic and the Wines showed well. Starting in September we will have one Wine Dinner a month and Chris and John have many things planned for the Wenham Tea House, we’ll keep you posted.
Last Wednesday’s Friends of Beverly Animals tasting was well attended and raised much needed funds for this worthy organization. This Wednesday our good friend Josh McKlintock has asked us to have a wine tasting for another good cause.Asaprosar.org is an organization that helps people in El Salvador with Visual Health issues and is something near and dear to his heart. The event will begin at 6pm. and go until 8pm. and asuggested minimum donation of $15.00 is requested. Please come out for this if you can.
Friday from 4-6pm. we will have Doug Cass from Cass winery, who makes the Flying Nymph wines. We had a tasting a few weeks ago and Doug could not make it due to a family emergency. So we welcome him and you will have an opportunity to taste these very good wines from Paso Robles, California and speak to the person who makes it.
Andrea will be opening some Beer for you to taste on Thursday from 4-7pm. Come by and try some brews you might not have had before. This is a surprise tasting and should be a good one. There are lots of new arrivals for Beer as well so even if you can’t make the tasting come by and check out the new Beers.
John Grange will be here to taste some wine on Saturday from 2:30-5:30pm. He always has great wine and they are always interesting and this week will be no exception. He will be making a home-made Sangria with a White and Red wine from Spain for you to try and will have the recipe for you to take with you.
